HAVE A SAY AND LEAD A BETTER YOUTH
The world is developing very fast with science and technology. Evil has taken its root in the development scheme and is also growing rapidly. It is good to be abreast with this technology but the big question Christians ask themselves are:
Are these youth growing spiritually with these changes occurring in the world?
Is the good news of the word growing rapidly as technology grows?
Christians have analyzed and drawn a conclusion that sin is rapidly growing faster.
There has been rampant increase in the rate of sexual immorality. Youth at an early stage in life are engaged in prostitution. They claim it is the quickest way to gain money and have accepted this as their way of life. This has now increased the rate of teenage pregnancy and abortion. Homosexualism and lesbianism is now increasing at an alarming rate in the Junior and Senior High schools.
Easy access to the internet have opened an avenue for the youth today to watch pornographic movies and pictures freely and are downloading these pictures onto computers and phones. If the eye is the lamb of the body, is this what we want to feed the body with?
Arm robbers are now testifying that their profession begins at a very tender age, begging, hawking, stealing and in their desire to gain more, with the help of drugs decides to use ammunitions. Are we to finally conclude that majority of youth involved in begging, hawking and stealing on the streets are our future generation of arm-robbers?
60% of the youth visit clubs to smoke and drink during the weekends.
Is this the will of God and our parents to bring us up in this way? Every child has a dream of becoming a personality of national importance to the country and as they grow circumstances in life shutters their dreams. The Bible says we should teach the child the way he/she should go.
Christian Youth Organizations would like to take up this challenge, our dream is to bring all Christians together and stretch out the word of God especially to the young ones .We therefore call on your help and support with comments and solution to these this problems. We believe God is going use you to direct us as to how to solve these problems.
We need executives, people willing to be consultants to help solve these problems and people to help support financially in a way to make this solution a reality. Sow a seed in this project and God will richly bless you indeed.
